Cardinia Catchment Landcare Inc
WHAT'S HAPPENING
We have done two plantings on private properties so far in June and July, namely Colin Howard, Officer and Dianne van der Velde at Cardinia.
We are holding funding from Melbourne Water and Casey City for work along sections of Grassmere Creek. Also for work around reserves in Harkaway.
With the assistance of scouts, members and local residents, a thousand plants were put in along Grassmere Creek on 25th July.
Green Corps workers are more available from the start of July. They are able to give us assistance on public land reserves.
Parks Victoria has started the Cardinia Creek Parklands Master Plan. This will progressively develop over the next several years, the 217 hectares that have accumulated since 1992..
The website is in transition, there will be ongoing modification.
