Result – about 1/3 surviving

Soil preparation – ripped, friable soil. Weed mats used.

Planting was followed by two severe dry summers.  The owner was unable to supply follow up maintenance with the result that high weed growth smothered plants.

Plants surviving – Euc Ovata, Melaleuca ericifolia, Acacia myrtifolia, Kunzea, Olearea lirata, Acacia stricta, Acacia melanoxylon, Acacia vernicaflua, Euc cephalocarpa.

We would expect that the plants surviving will continue to grow and others may still appear above the dense grass cover.
